About Donna and SIZE:me;

"I have always believed sewing should be a pleasure and accessible to all, so I have combined my engineering experience with 8 years of teaching to ensure this is the case.
Whilst teaching I have had a real life insight into the problems you all experience whilst sewing and believe the biggest to be fit and understanding instructions.

In addition I have tailored my designs to incorporate the most simple and effective construction techniques, then with the addition of a video tutorial where you can see what’s happening, I believe you will find the experience of SIZE:me patterns a pleasure.
My approach to teaching is to be open and honest, if something is difficult I will tell you so that you can be prepared to find it a little tough without it destroying your confidence….I hear too often that you feel you ‘should be able to do it’…Why??? How?? You’d never be able to build house if I just gave you the plans! There’s my construction background coming out…but seriously what you are doing is engineering without the hard hat! So why not let an engineer help you?"

Within the 6 months, you will be guided through the cutting and construction of the following garments learning different skills each month;

• Month 1 - Florence Boxy Tee - Very quick and wearable, plus a great introduction to stretch fabrics
• Month 2 - Vienne Blouse - Sewing raglan sleeves and a front frill
• Month 3 - Florence Blouse - Learning the popular skill shirring
• Month 4 - Vienne Dress - Introduction to inset sleeves and gathering
• Month 5 - Serene Skirt - Elasticated waist and button holes
• Month 6 - Florence Trousers - Fitting at the waist and putting in an invisible zip

At the end of the 6 months you will have the chance to sign up to one additional bonus pattern!

Please note - the cost of the monthly subscription is £55 and includes postage.  The first payment is a pre sale for the following month (month 1) and we aim to ship boxes within the third week of the month to allow the fabrics to be delivered to us.  The first payment of £55 to be taken from your bank will be at the start of 'month 2'.

If you have purchased this subscription outside of a promotional offer and you wish to cancel, please write to us at hello@allsettosew.com giving 30 days notice and we will cancel for you.

If you have purchased this subscription on a promotional offer you must complete 3 full paying months before you can cancel.
