Learn to Dress Make - Tilly and the Buttons Stevie Tunic

The Stevie can be made as a tunic or a dress and is the perfect introduction in to sewing with a woven fabric.  You can choose which length you would like to make and within this course you will cut your pattern and fabric and will finish with a completed tunic or dress that you will love to wear!

In this course you will learn;

How to measure for the correct size of pattern

Cutting out a commercial dress making pattern

Cutting out the fabric

How to use the markings on a pattern

How to construct the garment

Finishing seams

Hemming

The cost of the course is for three sessions, the printed pattern is included in the cost of the course however you will be required to bring along your fabric.  I do have a small selection of fabric available that can be purchased and if you would like to do so we    can arrange a date prior to the course for you to come in and choose.  Janome sewing machines, thread and all other haberdashery and notions are also included.

The course will be held in our Eastbourne town centre location - The Old Printworks, Commercial Road, BN21 3XQ.  It is situated next to Eastbourne Train Station, town centre bus stops and the Enterprise Centre.  There is a car park at the Enterprise that has reduced rates in the evening.
