Your subscription box is delivered through your door, wrapped in tissue paper and has everything you require for sewing your new project. DON'T think you have the time? Well these fat quarter Guilty Pleasure boxes have lovely short projects so you can set aside an hour and have your beautiful makes all done and had time for a cuppa *Yep they supply the treat too!! I know!!!
Soooo.. how did I get on this month.
Hanging storage Pots is the pattern for July from sew cosy patterns. They design the pattern especially for the subscription boxes.
The floral and Bug fabrics are adorable and so colourful my mind was instantly picking out coordinating fabrics I could use from my stash for the lining of the pots. The pattern was straightforward and easy to follow. My first time using fusible fleece!
I decided to use coordinating fabric for the inside and with turning your pattern you can actually make three pots or if you use any fabric from your stash.. you can make 6 with the "flutter by" fabric collection.
Even though I've been sewing small projects for over two years I'd never used fusible fleece and that's what is so great about these projects. They walk you through each step and give you a chance to try something new. I'm extending my skills and feel super proud of my finished Sammy Storage Pots!
A tick under my belt, a great project I can reproduce for family and friends and a real sense of sewing satisfaction!
I'm already looking forward to August
